Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Varnika.

The service
Varnika is a tool that analyses images you supply and produces colour maps, masks and mixing suggestions. It runs in your web browser on your own device.
Your account and plan
Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment processor. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Plan entitlements are those described on the pricing page at the time you subscribe.
Your content
You keep all rights in the images you use and the artwork you make. We claim no licence over either. Because the analysis runs on your device, we do not receive, store or process your images.
You are responsible for having the right to use any reference image you supply — a photograph you did not take may be protected by copyright even if it is freely visible online.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to infringe anyone's rights, to produce material that is unlawful, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems. Do not resell or redistribute the software itself.
Commercial use
You retain rights to your own artwork and may sell it. You are responsible for permission to use reference images and teaching materials. No plan grants rights to third-party content.
What we do not promise
The service produces suggestions, not guarantees. Colour matches are computed approximations, pigment data is approximate and varies by brand and batch, and the final painting depends entirely on your materials and judgement. The service is provided as is, without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost work or lost materials.
Changes
We may change these terms or the service. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will tell subscribers before it takes effect, and you may cancel.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
