What the maps look like

Four views of the same reference. These are diagrams of the process — see the note at the bottom about paintings.

The reference — untouched, and always available underneath the map.

The colour map — every pixel replaced by the paint shade it belongs to.

One layer — shade 03 alone, over a dimmed reference. “Put this colour here.”

The outline — every boundary at once, for transferring the drawing.

This page deliberately shows diagrams rather than finished paintings. Real examples belong here — with the painter’s name and permission — and we would rather show none than invent them.

If you have painted from a Varnika map, send the reference, the map and a photograph of the finished piece to Support contact will be published before launch. Credited, linked, and removed whenever you ask.
